Jaguar XK8 XKR (X100) Refurbished Steering Wheel
The Jaguar XK8 / R Steering wheels have a nice looking and classy half wood and leather combination. However with the age of this model many steering wheels are looking tired, worn and in need of refurbishment. Many owners have either replaced their seat covers or repaired and restored them but if the steering wheel is worn this will let the interior of the car down.
We are now pleased to be able to supply the following services:
* wood repair (if required) and re-lacquering of the burr walnut
* retrimming the leather on the steering wheel in the original Sable colour. It has been very hard to source new leather in the Sable colour but we now have it
* recovering the air bag cover in the Sable colour or other colours e.g black. We can also emboss the cover with the Growler head for an impressive finish.
To complete the above you would need to send us your old steering wheel excluding the switch pack.
We can then assess the work to be done and provide a quotation and timeframe for doing the work.
