Jaguar XK8 XKR (X100) Lower Spring Mounting Rubber and & PLATE

The original front lower spring mounting parts consist of a white plastic spring seat / leveller and the lower spring mounting plate MJA2166BC. The white plastic seat is often broken on dismantling the spring assembly. The plastic seat is not available from Jaguar but only as part of a Jaguar Springs kit many part numbers of which are now no longer available. After many months of searching and testing we can now supply a heavy duty lower spring mounting rubber seat / leveller that fits well together with the metal spring mounting plate. The metal spring mounting plate connects to the shock absorber by means of a ring on the shock absorber which effectively holds up the front suspension assembly !. So I recommend changing when doing this work.

The original set up includes a black plastic packer or spacer MJA2162AA. When fitting the above new parts we do not advise re-fitting this unless you want to increase the ride height.
By leaving this part off the assembly and using our new lower spring mounting parts this will result only in a ‘net’ 4 mm increase in overall ride height.

This part includes the lower spring rubber and mounting plate – one per side.
