Jaguar XK8 XKR (X100) Side of Rear Bumper to Inner Structure Repair Bracket
This bracket secures the side of the rear bumper to the inner body structure. As it is positioned close to the rear wheels it gets exposed to dirt and dampness thrown up by the rear wheels and in time will inevitably start to corrode. In very bad cases the connections to the corroded bracket will come away and the side of the bumper will just hang down.
A good to time to check and if required replace is when repairing the lower rear wing section or when removing the rear bumper perhaps to change the bumper mounting brackets (another problem area !).
Although a fairly small part they are time consuming to make based on the original Jaguar bracket design.
At the time of writing these brackets are not available from Jaguar.
